Even though Death Note was reeaalllyy good, I think LG is even better. All the solutions to the games and the brilliance of the games themselves kinda make me want to be in one. This manga is high on my list.

MMM comparing to death not its not fair, for the obvious diferences, but the games here and how akiyama and yokoya try to be ahead of the other its in my opinion more complex than death note, in death note when its imposible to find a solution they explain with powes, mind erasing or imposible skills (like the american agent that copy all the death note in one night) Liar game gives realistic solutions that most of us cant think until we see it (thinking out of the box)

It's not as good as Kaiji, but it's decent. The games are well thought-out.

...I like Death Note’s more regarding that point.Anyway Liar Game is excellent as well in what the author pretends to excel. Hope chapter 128 comes out soon, I want to know the medal’s distribution right now!! xD Regards, --JsPeed--

death. Totally different both in quality and purpose. Liar Game’s author want to puzzle us with his games and show us that if we think of it there is always a way to beat the game. Death Note’s author wanted not only to impress us with the brilliance of characters, but to tell us a much more complex story that involves more than a game. Moral and ethical values are discussed trough the plot, characters develop complex bonds and the feelings of each character are considered. I will not consider drawing quality because I’m no expert at all. Still…

Death Note and Liar Game are so different... Why compare these two? They are both psychological thrillers that’s true but they are different both in essence and purpose. Liar Game is somewhat linear as a story besides the players’ genius; Death Note as much more to it. It’s a rich story full of twists and drama with complex characters that evolve trough the intricate plot. They are not trapped in a game and still they pull some awesome tricks to fool each other in a real word like environment (expect for the shinigamis of course) in situations of life and…

i think the first part when Nao and Akiyama tries to take the money from the opposing player was boring till i decided to keep on reading and i got interested in round 2 and so on

zzz... that's why akiyama was called 'the genius swindler' because he can calculate those things in his head... he plans well and executes well.. just as planned..

i think it cant be better than death note but i can be one of most interesting manga

Yeah, like I just can't believe a man can think and compute all of this in his head. PURE genius...I love pure genius series like this and DN. But I really hate Nao, she can be annoying, but I detest most is that those LGT officers determined that she's the most powerful player. I'm like...throughout this whole series, she never once had a solution to anything. She'd be dead without Akiyama from the very beginning. Do the genius ones some justice, please.

This is by far one of the greatest psychological pieces of our time. This blows Death Note out of the water. With a rocket launcher.
