uh... the description is kinda wack... Death the Kid is the only one out of the main characters that is a Shinigami because Shinigami-sama is his father. It's not completely funny either. Some of it's funny but it's also a lot of other things like action, fantasy, and kind of a drama in some parts. I think the description guy never read the dang thing...

And no, just because they are in the SHINIGAMI`s school, they are NOT noticed as shinigami. They are completely human, a thing shinigami are not. Shinigami are gods. The others are simply meisters and weapons.Thus, human.

This is wrong! It`s totally unacceptable for me to see a wrong description on this great anime! They are SHIBUSEN students who work for those 99 Kishin, or evil human, souls and a witch one in order to create a death scythe, which is the respective meister`s partner. The only Shinigami are Shinigami sama, the current one, and Kid! Jesus, learn before you write.
